The festivities of the Nazarene fill the streets of Xàbia with flowers with the 'Cruces de Mayo'

A total of 19 crosses of flowers dress the streets of Xàbia of color. Those elaborated by Mayorales del Nazareno 2018 as well as those made, voluntarily, by neighbors, associations and businesses were visited on Tuesday. First thing in the morning, next to the despertà, the crosses of the marine district of Duanes de la Mar were visited.

The Parish of Loreto, the Festival Commission of Loreto and the Board of Moors and Christians they are the three crosses installed in the port of Xàbia.

In the afternoon, and as is tradition, the parade of visit of the crosses was carried out: Authorities, mayorales of the parties, neighbors and the tuna crossed the zone of the town to see each one of them. Different designs, colors and materials for the elaboration of crosses and tapestries.

For anyone who wishes to visit the crosses, the Cofradía del Nazareno has published a map with the location of each of the crosses being in the following streets: Metge González Street, Mayor Street, Church Square, Architect Urteaga Street, Vella Street , Placeta del Convent, Calle San Joaquín, Calle Jesús Nazareno, Avenida Príncipe de Asturias, Calle Primicies, Calle Mosén Febrer, and in the Port: Severo Ochoa, Parish of the SeaDr Fleming.
