This coming weekend, the Moors and Christians festivities they will fill the streets of Duanes de la Mar with atmosphere and music. It will be on Saturday, February 15, when the Moorish and Christian troops will celebrate the traditional act of the Mig Any Fester. A day in which, in addition to commemorating the festivities, he officially appears for the charges of that year.
On this occasion, the captains of the Filà Ballesters, which is the one that holds the position this 2020 and will be proclaimed to the standard-bearers.
Mig Any party program
The events of this Mig Any will start on Friday with an informal entraeta that will begin at 21:30 p.m. in the marine neighborhood where the lines will travel through some of the streets.
On Saturday the party program will continue with the main day in which there will be a concentration of festivities, a popular lunch, an entree at 12 noon by Duanes de la Mar to the sound of the Moorish and Christian marches and at noon the gala meal will be held and in the charges will be announced: as Abanderada Mora 2020, Lucía Llidó Vallés, from the filà Xibia and of the Christian Flag Bearer 2020, Carla Llidó Bertolín, of the Pirates of Sant Jaume filà.
The official presentation of the 2020 Captaincy will also be held, with whom he represents this position and the 2019 representatives will be dismissed.
