24 October 2019 - 12: 09

The official language schools of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports will keep open until next Thursday 31 of October the registration in the last vacancies offered in this course 2019-2020. The public EOI network, configured by 24 schools and 49 sections distributed by 67 Valencian municipalities, still has vacancies in the 17 languages that are offered.

In addition, the enrollment in the complementary courses of two hours per week also remains open. These are eminently practical workshops dedicated to the work of oral proficiency at any of the levels taught (A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2), but initiation groups are also offered to study a language, to prepare tests for certification for the unofficial student body that is examined for free, as well as improvement or updating of the language.

These face-to-face workshops, which can be chosen with a duration of 30 or 60 hours per year, are developed from now until May and are aimed at the general public. Students must not take any test and simply with the assistance to 75% of the sessions and their use, a certificate is obtained.

It is important to keep in mind that the previous appointment does not guarantee a place in the EOIs, because these are running out as the days go by. Therefore, it is necessary to have prepared more than one option of schedules of which there is availability. On the day of the registration appointment it is mandatory to provide all the necessary documentation, so as not to lose your turn.

If the student has previously enrolled or in the current course at the EOI where he wants to apply for a vacancy, he must not provide any documents, just request the reservation of a place and collect the payment form for the fees. If you had been enrolled in another Valencian EOI or other autonomous communities, you must present the academic certificate of notes issued by your home EOI. If you are enrolled in another EOI, you must provide the tuition receipt.

To access the first course of the A2 level of any language, it is not necessary to have previous knowledge, but from that level the new students in the EOI must present the certificate of the level immediately below the one they want to access. You must also provide the original ID and photocopy and a passport-size photograph.

Once the place is confirmed, the applicant for a vacancy or a complementary course has two business days to present the fee form and the bank receipt of his payment at the secretariat of his EOI. Not presenting them means the loss of the place.

The Valencian EOI network offers this course the teaching of 17 languages: German, English, Arabic, Spanish for foreigners, Basque, Finnish, French, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Valencian and Chinese.
