The imagination and sometimes the confusion of the citizens always leaves curious and original anecdotes during the election day. Neighbors exercise their right to vote, but sometimes they express their opinion or disagreement with the policy in a different way. The citizen knows that his vote will be void, but he has exercised his right and has exposed his frustration.
In the appointment to the polls of this 28M in Xàbia, a new anecdote was shown when opening the ballots. The drawings of some possible thieves and the criticism of urbanism captured the attention of the representatives of the polling stations and proxies. In this way, a neighbor showed his opinion and his negative vote for the 2023 local elections with the following message: "I DO NOT give my vote to the candidacy presented by: URBANISM XÀBIA. ASK HERE", message accompanied by drawings of sausages and thieves.
