The crosses of flowers of the Nazareno festivities dress the streets of Xàbia

Yesterday, May 1, several streets of Xàbia and shop windows sported a new image. A cross decorated with flowers, or tapestry, wood, etc. It dressed different points of the historical center of Xàbia and the district of Duanes de la Mar.

During the night one of the most important events of the festivities in honor of Jesus Nazareno took place, the parade of visit to the crosses of May. From the first hour of the morning the mayorales already showed, to all the neighbors, tourists and visitors, their work of art. The tuna of Xàbia, who performed the song to each mayoral next to the cross, imposed on the Nazareno before the parade a ribbon (scholarship) in memory of the 25 anniversary of the Tuna de Xàbia.
