Sant Pere Màrtir and Sant Cristòfol streets win the 2022 Les Fogueres decoration contest

The dedication and hours of work, the color and the originality have been awarded today in Xàbia. On the occasion of the parade to visit the decorated streets, the prizes have been awarded to the best. Sant Pere Màrtir and Sant Cristòfol streets have been the ones that have won the first and second prize, respectively, of the six that had been presented, this year, to the comxicotetion (Tossal de Baix, Sant Josep, En Forn and Jesús Nazareno, in addition to the two winners).

'Bajo el mar' on Sant Pere Màrtir street, has won the first prize in the decorated contest. The queen of 2020, Marta Ortuño and the queen of 2022, Olivia Clemente, have been in charge of delivering the plaque and the prize of 200 euros in cash.

The tour has continued through the historic center of Xàbia and through all the decorated streets, ending in Sant Cristòfol street, winner of the second prize. Its adorned with arches has welcomed all the fifths and fifths.

The queen of 2021, Nara Rodríguez, has delivered the commemorative plaque to one of the fifths of 2020, a neighbor of this street and the prize of 100 euros.

Cremà de la Foguera of the Day Center

As is tradition, the Cremà is brought forward a few days in Xàbia. The Bonfire carried out, with love, by the residents of the Day Center turns to ashes after the parade of decorated streets. The children's queen, Ariadna Serrat, has been in charge of lighting the fuse for the Cremà of this special bonfire. The act has been followed by the residents themselves, partygoers and a multitude of neighbors.
