The aid of the Provincial Council for the second sports hall of Xàbia has been blocked

17 September 2020 - 07: 12

El Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, will convene the Board of Spokespersons of the Town hall to analyze the consequences of the appeal for replacement that Compromís has presented in the Provincial Council of Alicante and that blocks the
Plan Plan of the Alicante Provincial Council, which collects a subsidy of 900.000 euros for the construction of the necessary second sports hall in Xàbia.

Chulvi wants to agree on an institutional declaration that rejects this resource and asks Compromís to be sensitive to the needs of the population of Xàbia and put them above their political struggles.

And, as the mayor has recalled, Xàbia urgently needs a second pavilion to be able to reorganize local sports activity now totally dependent on the Palau d'Esports Miguel Buigues. It is a demand of all clubs and a well-known need also by the municipal group of Compromís in Xàbia, since one of its councilors was responsible for the Department of Sports in the last legislature.

The sports provision projected in the Freginal area is large and is budgeted at around 5 million euros. That is why, to be able to enter the special plan of nominative aid of the Provincial Council and obtain aid of this size (900.000 euros, which is 20% of the total), the City Council of Xàbia had to renounce to benefit from the plan of provincial services until 2024, an agreement that the Corporation took unanimously in 2018.

Chulvi has stressed that this option is not a VIP treatment or privilege, as they slide from Compromís, but that it is perfectly regulated and contemplated in the bases of provincial aid, so he trusts that they will finally come out ahead.

The mayor has concluded that public representatives should focus their work on listening to the demands of citizens and addressing them, not blocking them. That is why he hopes that the councilors in Xàbia show that they are next to the interests of Xàbia and position themselves on the side of the City Council to ask their representatives in the Provincial Council to stop hindering local athletes from having the infrastructure they need .

Another pavilion? But if the management of the only one there is is a complete disaster ..., to put another one! And wait, the arch-promised pool is missing! Impossible to manage all that well with the inept and lazy people in front.

Building a new pavilion in the frechinal is one more shit for this council, in most towns they have all the sports facilities in one place, this makes it much easier when it comes to practicing sports in a family that has several members exercising some sporting activity , as well as the maintenance of the facilities by the authorities, but it is seen that in this council doing things well does not go with them.
    Greetings.

Now everything is in a hurry and regrets but they have had disastrous policies regarding sports infrastructures for 20 years, in Jávea we are in the queue compared to all neighboring towns, we have few facilities and those that exist are poorly preserved, a covered pavilion that when it rains there are leaks, some paddle tennis courts that have seen better times, in the municipal soccer field they have installed a visor in the stands that seems to be taken from the node in black and white
the football court next to it is falling apart There is no sports policy every councilor goes to his ball a lot of money is spent at parties and at fairs but in sports which is something good for the youth nothing of nothing.
    Greetings.

That Oltra, Ximo, Chili and 2 more ministers with a paella, in the barrack, they fix it, remember Chulvi to take your picture with a mask.

Very low-key policy, a shame, worse impossible.

I think it is more urgent for the residents of Xàbia to have drinking water at home, public lighting and waste.
It is incredible that we continue without these basic services that characterize the development of a municipality in the XXI century, despite the high taxes we pay.
    This matter should be prioritized
