El Javea Town Hall has spoken about what happened with the fireworks castle scheduled within the Loreto 2022 Festivities. Apparently the pyrotechnics suffered a computer problem when firing the fireworks from the aquatic platforms. This, consequently, uncontrolled the show and half of the contracted rockets could not be fired.
The Consistory has admitted that "it did not meet the usual quality standards" and, for its part, the pyrotechnic company has assumed said error. Now, both the City Council and the Festes Commission are negotiating with her to find "a compensation formula."
I am from Javea. I've been abroad all my adult life, but I keep coming back every year. The town has its problems, that's very clear, but the same could be said of everywhere. Please stop complaining and saying bullshit, it is still one of the most beautiful places in Europe and you are all very lucky to live in Jávea.
The icing on the cake!!! If something was missing to sink Javea, it was the failed aquatic fireworks display at the Mare de Deu del Loreto festivities.
