The Valencian Employment and Training Service, Works, has opened the registration period for the 2021 training courses, with about 90 free training courses for unemployed people. There may be a maximum of 10 people enrolled in each course, to guarantee anti-COVID measures.

To easily follow these steps, Labora has a tutorial on its YouTube channel: 'How do I enroll in a Labora course'. However, Labora's guidance staff attends to people who have doubts, both to formalize the registration and to find out what content is best suited to their professional profile. The request to receive personalized advice can be processed easily through the web, by selecting the option 'Training courses'.

The courses will take place at Labora Formació, which are centers dedicated to specialized teaching in Vocational Training for Employment. Training is also intended for other specialized sectors, such as culinary, with sommelier, as well as other advanced courses, such as auxiliary maintenance operations for vehicle bodies or auxiliary warehouse operations in industries and chemical laboratories.

Unemployed people who cannot access these courses due to lack of basic training, can access the tests that accredit key competences, and thus opt for these certified degrees.

A tailor-made training for each territory

Labora training courses are adapted to the needs of each territory. Thus, each year, a training needs detection is carried out with the aim of offering courses that are useful to unemployed people and are adapted to the reality of the Valencian labor market.

In total, the Department of Sustainable Economy, through Labora, will offer around 90 courses that may benefit 900 people. The training will be carried out exclusively in Labora's own centers, called Labora Formació.

Most of the training actions offered allow students to obtain an official certificate of professionalism that accredits their training for the performance of their profession. This type of certificate is especially valuable for unemployed people who do not have formal studies.
