Els veïns nostres Submarins. Bestiari contemporani of the Mediterranean It is the title of the new exhibition that hosts the Cirne de Xàbia Foundation. A sample whose main objective is to raise awareness among citizens, but especially children, of the importance of caring for the marine environment.
"Pollution and plastics threaten underwater life, on species that live in our sea, on our coast", says the president of the Cirne Foundation, Enric Martínez.
Els veïns nostres Submarins. Bestiari contemporani of the Mediterranean It is a symbiosis between photography and poetry by Laia Fontana, director of this project and biologist who highlights the great wealth of marine fauna that has the Mediterranean coast "And we have to take care to make it last in the future because with this book and exhibition we intend to bring the sea closer and show its interior, its marine diversity."
The exhibition, which in principle, will be open from the 22 of October to the 29 of November, in the same Cirne Foundation, hopes to raise awareness, with real photographs, to the little ones of the importance of conserving the Mediterranean funds.
Martínez has pointed out that the sample, even if it is addressed to the school community, is open to the general public, so it is recommended that to visit it, contact the Foundation in advance to arrange a good visiting schedule through email (info @ fundaciocirne.org) or by phone to 965796780.
The president of Cirne has indicated that the exhibition may be extended in time if there is a large number of people.
