The next 30 of June starts the tenth edition of the Swimming Crossing organized by the Javea Town Hall in the bay of the municipality, next to Nautical Club, Llebeig Athletics Club, Excursionist Center, Canoeing Club y Surf Club. It will have three tests, starting at 08: 30 in the Playa del Arenal, where the start will take place for the first time this year, with a distance of 3.000 meters until concluding in the Grava beach. The route is reduced compared to last year, which consisted of 4.500 meters, with what they expect from the Department of Sports a greater number of entries.
After the first test, on the 10: 00 will take place a second of 1.500 meters of course aimed at the oldest and older athletes of 70 years, and whose registration has already been closed with 250 pointed swimmers. Finally, there will be a test of 500 meters for young people between 9 and 17 years.
The registration period is established until Friday June 28. The participants in the circuit and in the Xàbia test will obtain a commemorative shirt. In addition, prizes will be given to the three qualifiers of each event, by category and sex, to the absolute winners and local swimmers.
