Several municipalities of the Marina Alta will travel to Fitur this week with the aim of presenting the route of Riuraus that has been made during a whole year. Specifically eleven are the people involved in this project, Benissa, Gata de Gorgos, Jesus Pobre, Lliber, La Xara, Ondara, Parcent, Pedreguer, Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Teulada and Xàbia, will present the route of Riuraus that constitutes a differential offer and singular that structures the Marina Alta thanks to the culture, the agricultural landscaping, the gastronomy and the wines and mistelas that take place in the industrial architecture of the riurau.
Fitur will be the promotional launching platform of a heritage route of these constructions that are the backbone of the route and in which visitors will be able to know a unique heritage in the world that only exists and can be visited in the Valencian Community although it is in the Marina Alta is where the riuraus have more presence. The route will show the importance of the economy of muscat, grapes and raisins that were grown and processed around the riuraus, the broths and the mistelas of Teulada, Benissa, Parcent or Lliber, the Llata de Gata de Gorgos, the gastronomy both indoor and marine, pastry, les coques or "l'escaldá de Jesús Pobre as well as the ethnological exhibitions of Xàbia or Teulada.
Next January 24 at 13:00 p.m. the route of the riuraus, the technical aspects of the tourist material, rollers and two powerful audiovisuals will be presented. In addition, there will also be a representation of "l'escaldá" that will be accompanied by a tasting of raisins, mistela and coke that will be provided by the municipalities that make up the riuraus route.
