On Saturday night, at the Palau d'esports Miguel Buigues Andrés, the act of election of festive positions of Les Fogueres de Sant Joan de Xàbia 2022 was held. La Quintà 2020, 'La returnà' already have their maximum representatives.
The Regina de la Foguera will be Olivia Clemente Ferrándiz. She will be accompanied by her bridesmaids, Júlia Pineda and Laura Calavia. The positions of 2021 were in charge of announcing the name of the highest representatives, elected by vote and before a notary, by the Quintà during the trial.
Likewise, the presidents of the Quintà 2021 named their successors, Sergio Diego and Clara Buigues being the chosen ones.
As every year, this event has a solidarity aspect and on this occasion, part of the proceeds from ticket sales went to Cáritas Parroquial. In addition, the event featured a fashion show by the Xàbia designer, Rubén Bisquert, which had the collaboration of the hairdresser Charlie & O and the makeup artist, María Sobrino.
In speeches, both the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, as the councilor for Fiestas, Kika Mata, they outlined how special the next Fogueres festivities will be. Some parties awaited by the stoppage of the pandemic, in which for two consecutive years they have not been able to be celebrated, but which in 2022 will be "special and unforgettable".
For the first time, Les Fogueres de Sant Joan will have three Quintaes as protagonists. The Quintà of 2020 'Tot per l'aire', the quintà of 2021 'La desastrà' and the quintà of 2022 'La returna', they will live, united, unique moments and of course, unique parties.
