The Department of Economic Development of Xàbia has presented today the programming of the Technological ADL that comes with news for the second quarter. One of them is the XàbiaTIC conferences especially aimed at young people and their relationship with technologies, the councilor has advanced Ximo Segarra.
To this end, three conferences have been programmed with the title Stop, Think and Connect, in which topics such as the healthy and empathetic use of the Internet, addiction to technology, hoaxes on the Internet and the development of critical thinking or the safe use of the Internet and social networks for the prevention of cyberbullying, the privacy and digital gender violence.
The conferences -free- will be next April 4 and June 7 and 14 in the afternoons, at 19:00 p.m. and are open to participation by different institutes and family members who may be interested.
Another novelty will be the Beachworking Agora; a forum on controversial issues related to NICTs and the new challenges presented by the digital society. One of them, the new artificial intelligence technological tools –such as ChatGPT- and their impact on the labor market or the dehumanization of services.
This agora will be in the Espai Comboi, a space where both local entrepreneurs and digital nomads who visit us meet.
Lastly, and faithful to his appointment, the IV Forum Grow Innovating Creama Xàbia, organized by the European Center for Innovative Companies (CEEI Elche), the Valencian Observatory of open data and transparency of the UPV, Creama and the Javea Town Hall with the economic collaboration of the Valencian Institute of Comxicotetiveness
Business (IVACE).
The main theme of this edition will be the practical experiences of companies that work with open data (digital data of a public nature) and the day-to-day utilities, business positioning and the different strategies for success in a digital environment.
The forum is made up of a cycle of four online sessions that will take place on Wednesdays from May 10 to 31, and the confirmed companies will be Urban Impacte, Energesis or Green urban data. Each session will last approximately one hour, and will be carried out through the Zoom application and is aimed at all entrepreneurs in the Valencian Community.
All this programming will be complemented with a conference on April 19 entitled How to manage stress by Juan Carlos Arancibia and David Cruanyes. It will be face-to-face at the Espai Comboi and open to all participants who want to do it for free.
Also and as a culmination of this course, on June 26 there will be a XàbiaTIC dedicated to the use of Canva.
As they point out from the area directed by Ximo Segarra, the Beachworking project is now in its seventh year with more than 100 activities organized by the ADL Tecnológico de Creama Xàbia between conferences, events and courses.
Events such as Beers and Bytes, Wine Digital or the Crecer Innovando Creama Xàbia Forum stand out, which have been consolidated among local companies and entrepreneurs as well as for the digital nomads that we receive. In addition, with the aim of continuing to bet on innovation, new formats such as the Beachworking Agora, Digitized or To Think and Connect aimed at women and youth respectively.
Segarra has pointed out that "Beachworking's bet is to have a program throughout the year and focused on training in the new digital world and as a connection base between all the people who decide that Xàbia is their next place to develop their professional projects and We want to be in the XNUMXst century".
