The Festival Committee of Santa Lucía began yesterday the celebration of this day with the 'Crida a la festa'. An act that filled the Historic Center of Xàbia with a good atmosphere, music and sweets.
For today Tuesday, December 13, the day of Saint Lucia, it was planned, as every year, to go up in a pilgrimage to the Hermitage and celebrate this event; but the forecast of rain has caused the acts to be reorganized.
The pilgrimage is canceled but the mass will be celebrated at 11:00 in the St. Bartholomew Church and the subsequent chocolate will be distributed at Casa Primicias.
