The Dénia Integrated Health Center in La Pedrera hosts a new therapeutic tool on the walls of the waiting room: 'And period, Kusama', which is a colorful intervention that combines mural art, narration and play and is inspired by the life and work of contemporary Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusama.
The intervention, which aims to dramatize the medical environment and offer moments of relaxation and distraction, using art as a powerful therapeutic tool, has been possible thanks to the collaboration of health professionals with "The Onomatopoeia of Silence".
The Managing Director of the Department of Health of Dénia -DSD-, Luis Carretero, accompanied by the Assistant Director, Juan Cardona; the Director of Care, Alfredo Moreno; the Director of Human Resources, Communication and CSR, Corpus Gómez; the Director and the Primary Care Coordinator, Antonio Barceló and Natalia Casado, respectively; those responsible for the basic area of Dénia, Pablo Parrondo and Xaro Cabrerea; The Director of the Art Project, cuidArt, Alicia Ventura and the artist of the Marina Alta, Inma Mengual, have visited this week the mural intervention of the Pediatrics area at the Integrated Health Center I, CSI I, of Dénia, in La Pedrera.
