The Muixeranga de la Marina Alta and the Fishermen's Guild, together with the Xàbia Department of Culture, are organizing a day of popular culture at the town's port.
The Councilor for Culture of Xàbia, Mavi Pérez, Amadeu Ros representing the Fishermen's Guild, and Pepe Signes, vice president of the Muixeranga de la Marina Alta, have presented the poster for an event that will take place on Sunday, March 30, where this group will put on a great performance and will debut a new, unprecedented, four-story tower that will bear the emblematic name of the town, "El Portitxol", and which in the future, they intend to take to all the towns they visit, just as they hope that other muixeranga groups will do.
The performance will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the port's dock, where the "baret dels bous" (bare of the bous) will be set up. It will be accompanied by the dolçaines and tabals of the Colla el Portitxol, which will make the event a unique moment.
