Bodegas Xaló and his mistela Riu Rau have been recognized internationally thanks to the award that has been granted in Japan by the prestigious Japanese Association Wine & Spirits Culture Association. The award of Double Gold, the second in importance given by this entity to wines and spirits from around the world has been for this drink in the region.
The Riu Rau mistela, from the vintage of 2013, is made with Muscat of Alexandria grape and is one of the most recognized of the winery of the Marina Alta. Now it is also internationally thanks to this award from Sakura Japan's Women Wins Awards.
