The update of data by municipalities on the evolution of the coronavirus in the Valencian Community provided by the Ministry of Health once again shows negative data. In just 4 days, the Marina Alta region has registered 50 new positive cases. A considerable increase compared to the previous day in which only 14 new infections were added.
So far, the total accumulated positive cases in the region amounts to 1931, of which 135 correspond to the last 14 days.
Along with this data, a death is added. A person from Ondara has lost his life, these days, due to COVID-19. With this death, there are already 36 residents of the region who have died from the pandemic.
With these data, the cumulative incidence in the Dénia Health Department that covers the entire region stands at 78,61 infections per 100.000 inhabitants.
Regarding the situation by municipalities, Xàbia and Dénia, which did not register new infections last day, this time add 8 and 10 cases respectively.
In Xàbia, since last March there are already 232 confirmed PCR positives, 19 of them, in the last two weeks.
