The Board of Festes de Moros i Cristians de Xàbia is in full swing, working to offer an unforgettable experience to visitors and locals during the next month of July. Among the planned activities is the extraordinary raffle of 1.000 euros that will be divided between only two winners on the same day that the Moros i Cristians festivities will begin, on Saturday, July 15.
The Junta de Festes has issued ballots with a marked four-digit number that ranges between 0001 and 9999. The number that matches the last four digits of the first prize of the National Lottery draw for that day will be awarded 750 euros and if it matches the last four of the second prize, 250 euros.
In the published ballots, a prize of 100 euros is also included if the number that appears highlighted coincides with the last four figures of the third prize of the National Lottery. However, on the day of July 15, State Lotteries and Gambling will only award two unique prizes. Thus, the amount of the latter will be distributed and will be added to that of the other two, increasing their economic prize. With this change, finally, the Moors and Christians of Xàbia will deliver two unique prizes of 750 and 250 euros.
The ballots cost three euros and the Filaes are in charge of putting them up for sale. Of this amount, a part will go to the Junta de Festes and another to the Filà that has sold them. A way of contributing to the investment involved in celebrating the festivities and to the effort made by each of the festival-goers to, among others, be able to offer the spectacular Gala Parades that dazzle the public, every year, during the third July weekend.
