22 2021 April - 15: 20

The Department of Education, Culture and Sports will convene an extraordinary test of the C1 level of Valencian of the Valencian Coneixements Qualifying Board in September, with 12.345 places to attend all those people registered in the ordinary test next June who have not obtained place due to the enrollment limitation imposed by the pandemic.

This year's ordinary call, limited by the need to guarantee protection and prevention measures against the pandemic, has offered a total of about 14.000 places. To cover them, a draw has been made among the 26.080 people registered to take the test. Applicants can check the result of the draw on the JQCV website.

Test schedule

The C1 test in June will be held on two Saturdays: on the 12th, the first part, which includes the area of oral expression and interaction; and on the 26th, the other three areas: written comprehension, linguistic structures and written expression and interaction.

It should be remembered that the deadline for registration and payment of the fee for all those registered who have obtained a place in the June C1 level tests is from April 28 to May 5, both included.

New test for applicants without a place

Given the great demand of applicants to take the Valencian C1 test, an extraordinary plenary session of the JQCV was convened this morning in which it has been decided to hold an extraordinary test in September for the 12.345 people who have not obtained a place in the draw from today.

The extraordinary test for these more than 12.300 applicants will be held in two different days: on Saturday, September 11, the area of oral expression and interaction will be evaluated, which, being an extraordinary call, will have an eliminatory character.

On the second day, on Saturday September 25, the areas of written comprehension, linguistic structures and written expression and interaction will be evaluated for applicants who have exceeded the minimum required in the area carried out on the first day.

Registration and payment of the fee to be able to participate in the extraordinary C1 test in September, at the venues determined in the new call, must be carried out between May 17 and 21 electronically.

All the information to carry out this procedure will be available in the next few days on the JQCV website.
