Andrea Escortell Ribes, Inés Mut Villanueva, Amelia González Algaba will be, next Tuesday, November 6, at 20:XNUMX p.m., the protagonists of the Xàbia TIC talks. The three young women, students of the María Inmaculada School, will count in the Soler Blasco Museum and first-hand, how they experienced their participation in the 2018 Technovation Challenge world comxicotetion.
With the title, The story of three xabieres to Silicon Valley, the talk gives value to young talent and will make known the experience of school girls who triumphed internationally with a technological application aimed at combating the loneliness of older people.
The three young people from Xàbia, from 14 and 15 years, programmed, in just five months, the APP Join Us. In addition, to belong to the category seniors (over 14 years) had to develop a business plan that would give viability over time. They worked hard to develop points such as comxicotetive analysis, financial viability plan, specify the mission and vision of the company ... among others
This project turned them into senior finalists of the Valencian Community and in front of the more than 19.000 girls that showed up in this international comxicotetion, they were chosen as one of the six best senior teams in the world. It was the first time that a Spanish team had climbed these positions since the contest began, a situation that allowed them to be invited to Silicon Valley, to meet girls from other cultures and to visit technologically pioneering companies such as Google or Nvidia.
