The Civil Guard of Jávea has investigated a supposed robbery with violence and intimidation, committed on a seller of coupons of Pego, who denounced that they had stolen the collection obtained while he was on his way to the bank to enter it.
The past 5 of April a vendor of coupons of the ONCE denounced in dependencies of the Civil Guard of Jávea to have been victim of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation, the past 20 of March, in a public way of Pego, in which The alleged author used a knife to execute his intimidation, with which he caused several slight injuries to his abdomen. This theft occurred when the victim went to deposit in the bank the amount of 2.600 euros, corresponding to the collection of sales.
The complainant provided all sorts of details, both the individual who robbed her and another man who picked up the assailant in a vehicle, fleeing both the place and the car itself.
The agents of the Judicial Police Team of the Civil Guard of Jávea immediately initiated an investigation, due to the gravity of the facts denounced. They collected all kinds of information about the journey the victim made, witness statements, the state of the injuries and other indications, determining with all this, only five days later, that the events had not occurred.
We proceeded, therefore, to the investigation of the initially denouncing, a Spanish 35 years, for the commission of the crimes of fraud and simulation of crime. Given the evidence of the amount of evidence obtained, the alleged victim finally acknowledged the facts, arguing that he had to face some payments that he could not assume.
It should be noted that in a small town like Pego, such a serious crime (robbery with violence and intimidation with a knife), committed in addition, about a vulnerable person, such as a voucher seller with a hearing disability, caused a great social alarm .
