El Mercat de Xàbia is preparing to welcome gastronomy lovers again with the celebration of Mercatap. This event will take place on Tuesday, October 31, starting at 19:00 p.m. and promises a wide variety of flavors. Various stalls at the municipal market will join the celebration offering a selection of tapas and culinary creations.

Some of the options include cochinita pibill coca, torreznos, burritos, putxero ball, figatell pincho, marinated prawn lollipop, citrus pickled mackerel, old toast and vegan wrap. The price of each tapa will be 3,00 euros, while drinks will be sold at 1,50 euros.

In addition to the culinary proposal, visitors will be able to enjoy a festive and musical atmosphere. The Marina Lindy Hop group will be in charge of animating the Mercat de Xàbia with their dance movements to the rhythm of swing.

In addition, the evening will feature a musical performance by the group Mossen Bramit Morera i els morts, who will offer a special show to celebrate Halloween night.

From the Association of Vendors of the Municipal Market of Xàbia and the Department of Economic Dynamization of the Javea Town Hall, it is highlighted that the purpose of this initiative is to highlight the municipal market as a space not only for the sale of quality products, but also for gastronomic tasting.

I don't see it as democratic that the posters are written exclusively in Valencian.
    It does not seem right.
    That's not fair.

I agree, in the Valencian Community the official languages are Spanish and Valencian and I think that the signs should be made in both languages. Anyone who does not understand Spanish or Valencian can use Google Translator, which has the option of taking a photo and translating it. that appears in it, they don't even have to write. What I don't like is that they only make posters in Valencian and even in English a few have been seen and, as far as I know, the Valencian Community is in Spain, not in the United Kingdom.

    • Incredulous says:

Your comment is very short and simple, if you only look at the poster, say that you find it very different from Spanish? .
Also, if you bother to read the news, it is in Spanish.
So a little please. That yours is already an obsession!!

What must the tourists think of these little theaters set up exclusively for them?
