Fallas Denia Campaments commission district will plant in the next josefinas parties, children's fallita whose theme Save us the Montgo. A project that, as has been customary in the last four years, has been signed by the artist from La Safor, José Gallego Gallego. The fallita militates in the first category of the Fallas de Dénia.
According to Gallego own account, the issue of failure "did not arise following the fire that occurred in the natural park of Montgó last September." "In previous meetings with the commission, and the idea came because, unfortunately, the Montgó is an area that often suffers the consequences of fire every year," says the artist.
Its author highlights that -when the fire occurred- the appearance of the fault “increased considerably” and both he and the commission saw a channel to transmit, to the smallest and in a didactic way, the importance of respect for nature and its protection . The commission assures that this year, the issue of the failure, "touches us all closely, especially those of us who live in the shelter of the Montgó." José Gallego himself is recognized as a great lover of the area and the Cape San Antonio in Jávea.
The central body of Falla monument will be represented by a nymph of nature, in the natural swing, it is surrounded by a fiery man who tries to take it. Around it, scenes of children will be going reforesting old vegetation and calcining Montgó and enjoying some of the most popular hiking spots and places found in the Dianense mountain face. In addition, the fallita make allusions to the endemic flora -the natural park is home to some of the most striking Europe ecosystems and wildlife.
Finally, the monument will pick the song Montgó vell scored by Paco Muñoz. Some verses that also appear in the solidarity calendar published by the Department of Tourism of Jávea and whose profits will go to the reforestation of the natural park.
The Campaments commission is "proud" of the work of José Gallego and they say they greatly admire his work, style, and craftsmanship bordering on perfection. "We hope to count on him for many more years," they say from the collective.
