The sculpture of the tennis player from Xàbia David Ferrer This Monday it returned to its location on Paseo del Arenal, after a restoration process by the artist Victor Goikoetxea.

The sculpture has a new look since it has been oven lacquered in white, which gives it more luminosity. In addition, it has incorporated a base.

This morning the Services brigade workers returned the sculpture to its original point so that it once again presides over the walk that is dedicated to the great tennis player from Xàbia.

  1. Elisa says:

The base is much larger than the sculpture, what a horror.

    • Microscopic sculpture says:

Yeah, that's what I thought when I saw it the first time. Then, as I got closer, it seemed even smaller. As I got closer it became tiny, tiny, molecular.

  2. Saints says:

I liked the previous version better. Darker

  3. neighbor says:

Call me a pessimist, but with the quality of the people who come to see us, and the location…that doesn't continue after Easter.

  4. Anonymous says:

Was it necessary to mark the package on the sculpture? It's not a mannequin

  5. AIR says:

Almost as tacky as the tennis player's frown...

    • Also says:

Will it be necessary to mess with someone over a statue? How little civility there really is, look first to see your eyebrows or the rest of your body if it's worth it, the comment is regrettable
