At the end of the extraordinary plenary session held on Monday, December 30, to approve the municipal budget for 2025, the socialist councilor Rosana Sapena, has presented her resignation. Sapena has indicated that she will leave her position "for personal reasons and to be able to better attend to her professional work as a lawyer."
Rosana wanted to thank both the Municipal Group and its spokesperson, José Chulvi, the trust shown in these months and has positively valued his time in local politics, which "has allowed me to better understand the great work that is carried out in the management and oversight of those issues that affect us all as citizens."
For its part, the PSOE of Xàbia thanks Rosana for all her dedication as well as the gesture of generosity and honesty that means giving way to new colleagues when circumstances require it.
The incoming councilor will be Olga Sales, who was already part of the previous government team in the 2019-2023 legislature, reinforcing the work of the Services department that she directed. Kika Mata.
