The construction of the new Graüll, one step away from being a reality in 2023

05 December 2022 - 12: 14

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, in charge of Raquel Tamarit, announced a few days ago the new construction of educational centers in the Marina Alta region, among which is the CEIP Graüll de Xàbia. A demanded historical construction that year after year remains in the air.

Now, with the investment of 104 million euros planned by the department of Minister Tamarit, 6,6 million from the Edificant Plan are allocated to the creation of the new Graüll. An important game that will make the first step to make the educational project a reality. And it is that, after so many comings and goings with the project and the procedures, it seems that the new Graüll will see the light.

Although the 6,6 million budgeted are not 100% of what the construction of this educational center entails, since the project dates from before the rise in the price of materials, it will be the first step to launch the expected school and leave the barracks classrooms forever.

From the Javea Town Hall, the councilor in charge, Montse Villaverde, has stated that the increase in the price of the project, which amounts to almost one million more, "has been notified to the Ministry so that it can take into account, later, a larger item that covers the total project."

In this way, we could say that this coming 2023 the first steps will be taken so that the CEIP Graüll project is on track and is finally a reality. The 6,6 million euros reserved for the new educational center in Xàbia will be allocated to the first procedures for the start-up of the project, such as starting the bidding process for the project and then the construction process.

The new school in Xàbia will be a two-line center with two free 2-year-old classrooms, 6 for Infants for students between 3 and 5 years old, 12 for Primary, a gym and a dining room equipped with its own kitchen. It should be noted that the Graüll school project includes the complete demolition of the current building and the construction of a completely new one on the same plot.

Legislature that ends and new graúll that is approved and built...

How many already? 3? If we translate it into years... there are children who have already been in college since the election trumpets sounded

It is getting closer to elections and news comes crap about... almost... one step away from...

It had not been 5 or 6 times that they sent the project to the Ministry and they presented deficiencies???

Isn't it the same one who tendered the drafting of the same project for being incapable of doing it well? And that this project from the external company succeeded the first time?

I hope they pull it off, but don't fool us with credits and photos afterwards…it's ridiculous and embarrassing.

But if we look at the trenc d.alba it can still be more unfortunate...

But of course... copying and pasting press releases from the town council to publish them is what it has...

It is nonsense to throw away the College, as well as the name change.

A cheer to see that it begins and that it ends sooner if the Auditorium, the College or the Bridge is new.
