The Minister of Health of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ana Barceló, was present yesterday in Xàbia on the occasion of the route that is being carried out by the municipalities to raise awareness, the 2019 budgets of the Generalitat, the management model and the achievements of the Consell in matters of Health. One of them, which affects the Marina Alta district, is the situation of the Dénia Hospital, in which the Generalitat proposed to reverse its management and to become public before the end of the legislature.
The councilor has reaffirmed the commitment to reverse the hospital permanently, "Which will also improve the service in outpatient clinics and healthcare services".
Barceló has ensured that "The intention of the Ministry of Health is to complete negotiations with the Temporary Union of Companies that manages the hospital in order to find the most appropriate formula to reverse this department before the end of this term, but has not set a price of purchase of shares ".
Improvements for Xàbia with 2019 budgets
Martín highlighted the president's commitment, Ximo Puig, to the infrastructure of the town and has informed that the Generalitat's Budget for 2019 "500.000 euros for the improvement of road safety in the CV-734 in the roundabout access to the morgue of Xàbia". Also, the socialist deputy indicated that "100.000 euros will be invested to repair the start-up of the dyke of the port of Xàbia and 70.000 euros for the renewal of its water supply network".
For his part, the mayor said that "The Consell will invest in 2019 in the La Marina Alta region more than 25 million euros, of which 11,5 will be allocated to social policies". Chulvi made mention of the infrastructures carried out during these years of socialist government, "In which we have reduced the municipal debt of 43 million to 1,3, we have paved the streets of the urbanizations and we have managed to have municipal facilities such as Duanes library, Archive and the court of peace".
