The Valencian Community has registered, this past Thursday, 177 new cases per PCR test, which put the total number of positives at 14.452 people.
By province, the number of new cases is as follows: 8 in Castellón; 44 in the province of Alicante; 125 in the province of Valencia, to which we must add 6 unassigned cases.
On the other hand, 110 patients with coronavirus have been discharged, so that the total of people cured already amounts to 18.997 people, in addition to 18 unassigned cases. Thus, there are currently 1.945 active cases, which represents 8,67% of the total positives.
Valencian hospitals currently have 130 people admitted: 10 in the province of Castellón, with no ICU patients; 46 in the province of Alicante, 7 of them in the ICU; and 74 in the province of Valencia, 5 of them in the ICU.
There have been no deaths from coronavirus since the last update, so the total number of deaths remains at 1.481 people.
The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus amounts to 621.666, of which 486.876 have been through PCR and 134.790 through rapid tests.
Residences
At the moment there are some positive cases in 16 residences for the elderly (8 in the province of Alicante and 8 in the province of Valencia), 2 residences for people with functional diversity in the province of Alicante and 2 centers for minors in the province of Valencia .
