The Minister of Health, Ana Barceló, has appeared, as every day, a few minutes ago to give the latest data on the situation of the coronavirus in the Valencian Community. Barceló has indicated that in the last 24 hours "A step has been raised since there are a total of 449 new positive cases, of which 229 belong to the province of Alicante". Likewise, the total in the Community amounts to 2616 positive cases, being 858 in the Alicante area.
Of the 2616 positive cases, 1071 are admitted, of which 348 in the province of Alicante are in the ICU 61. Of the discharges, in total there have been 44 throughout the Valencian Community, being 14 in Alicante. And of the total of deceased, the number rises to 143, of which 71 in Alicante.
The number of toilets that have tested positive for coronavirus is 485 throughout the autonomy.
