After last year's success, the Comissió de Festes Mare de Déu de Loreto once again organizes the second edition of the VI VORA MAR wine route. The proposal, of a popular nature, will take place on Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th of May.
With this initiative, the Comissió de Festes adds one more activity to its annual calendar that aims to enhance the cultural, gastronomic and festive agenda of the municipality. But also, to maintain the current level of the patron saint festivities in September involving and seeking the collaboration of the residents of Xàbia.
Hand in hand Bodegas Xaló, a benchmark in the wine culture of the Marina Alta, the Comissió will present a wide selection of wines in order to highlight the quality of the native production that is made in the region. On this occasion, Bodegas Xaló will offer a red, a white, a rosé, a vermouth, a mistela and a cava.
As if the selection made was not varied enough, in this second edition Prado Rey will participate as a guest winery. The Posada Real Sitio de Ventosilla will bring two wines (a red and a white) with which to enjoy all the Ribera del Duero flavor.
In addition, following the line of last year, with each of the wines, six small bites and sweets will be offered expressly designed for the occasion and that pair properly with each one of them. The route will be enlivened with music and the Comissió does not rule out including more incentives.
VI VORA MAR will take place on Severo Ochoa street and its opening will take place, both days, from 19:00 p.m. until closing. The entry system will be through the purchase of tickets that will allow the tasting of a certain number of wines and snacks with each one.
