The blue flag already flies in the Cala del Moraig del Poble Nou de Benitatxell, a badge that it obtained for the first time in 2013 and that certifies the quality of the waters and the natural environment of this beach, as well as the excellence of its services .
A priority on this beach has always been to ensure the safety of bathers. The rescue and first aid device is provided by SVS. The Moraig cove was a pioneer in having a nursing service. The rescue team is made up of four professionals: a nurse, a deckhand from the Merchant Navy and two aquatic lifeguards. It is punctually reinforced on weekends. The lifeguards have a jet ski, a rapid intervention vehicle, a defibrillator and a rescue boat. They are permanently coordinated with the Local Police and Civil Protection.
The mayor, Miguel Ángel Garcia, and his government team, have been in charge of raising this quality mark in the cove.
