The bay of Xàbia became a beautiful sight with the sight of multiple candles, belonging to more than a hundred boats participating in the "II Meeting of the Bay of Jávea", sporting event organized by the Club Náutico Jávea and Marina Sport.
From early in the morning, participants concentrated on the terrace of the Club Nautico de Javea to later go out together to sail in the bay. Some fifty have departed from the Javea Yacht Club and many others from the port of Dénia, where the Yacht Tribe fleet was, to join this meeting in which the objective was not the result but to enjoy the sea, the Bay and sailing sport.
The boats took two turns around a route delimited by three buoys, named after Arenal, Siesta and San Antonio. The first buoy that had to be overcome was San Antonio, after the Siesta (in front of the Montañar) and the Arenal, in front of the beach.
A fine rain made an appearance during the sailing day, but it did not prevent navigation from being enjoyed.
The Encounter has allowed us to experience the great experience of a sport and tourism navigation that promotes a sustainable use of the natural resources that surround our bay. In the afternoon, the CN Jávea offered a Spanish wine on its terraces, which put the finishing touch to this sporting event, which featured the performance of the legendary Doctor Ron, who after the great success obtained, is already planning its next edition .
