The Association of Pensioners and Retirees Sunrise of Xàbia have celebrated Valentine's Day with a meal and dance in the Carrasco salons.
As every year, in this celebration, couples who have celebrated the 50 anniversary during the year receive a plaque on behalf of the Association. On this occasion, there were two honored couples: the one formed by Francisco Sancho Llidó and Vicenta Vallés Serer and José Albi Bisquert and Pepita Costa Ribes.
The councilor of social services, Pepa Gisbert, was the one who was in charge of congratulating all the retirees with special emphasis for the honorees. It should be noted that this year, the Association of Pensioners and Retired Dawn of Xàbia elected new president.
Gisbert thanked the current president, Tere Navarro, for her work, as she had a mishap a few weeks ago and is recovering favorably. The party ended with dancing by Toni Catalá.
