This past summer, after the end of the football season, the CD Jávea held an extraordinary assembly in which the Board of Directors at that time announced his resignation from office. He also reported on the difficult economic situation of the club by not having received the municipal subsidy for the 2020-2021 season. The Club owed several months of salaries to the players, suppliers and technicians.
This situation has been, in part, resolved this week. CD Jávea has received 75% of the subsidy from Javea Town Hall pending, with what was the Board of Directors in the previous season begins the settlement of the debt.
From the CD Jávea they point out that the remaining 25% is scheduled to become effective in the month of February, so that in this way, the club's accounts would be cleaned up.
