February 4th is World Cancer Day. For this reason, the Xàbia Local Board of the AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer), in collaboration with the town hall, has placed a large commemorative sign on the facade of the Javea Town Hall.
The aim of this global event is to raise awareness and mobilise society as a whole to make progress in the prevention, early detection and control of this disease.
This campaign also aims to call for investment in research to advance cancer treatments and improve the quality of life of those affected.
