The ACNCV regrets that the Consell delays millionaire income in the Valencian ports

15 March 2021 - 09: 30

The Association of Nautical Clubs of the Valencian Community has regretted today that the Consell "Delay millionaire investments" that would be carried out by the clubs in the Valencian marinas "Due to its inability to resolve expired concessions."

The entity, which brings together a total of 24 Valencian yacht clubs of which more than half have the concession expired, has spoken in these terms after learning that the Department of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility plans to invest 7,4 million euros in emergency works to repair the damage caused by storms in the ports of the Region.

"However, many sports entities have not been able to remodel the damage to their facilities, valued at more than three million euros, due to the uncertainty caused by the paralysis of the files", they point out, while adding that, in addition, the GVA “It ignores the economic impact that it would entail
add the investments that the yacht clubs would make if the procedures for the extension and renewal of concessions were resolved, which would exceed 10 million euros and could be made for more than two years "
.

In the opinion of the ACNCV, the inability of the General Directorate of Ports of the GVA to carry out the aforementioned files “It goes against the public interest, since it not only keeps yacht clubs in a state of permanent legal uncertainty and slows down their investments, but also slows down the adaptation of facilities to sports and tourism demand, as well as adaptation to continue advancing in environmental sustainability ". These investments, he adds, would represent an evident multiplier effect of the investment effort of the Generalitat.

Therefore, urges the Minister of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility Arcadi Spain, to "Get going immediately and put an end once and for all to the immobility in which the General Directorate of Ports has been installed for too many years."

It should be remembered that yacht clubs are non-profit entities that invest all their income in the maintenance of the facilities and in the promotion of sport, in addition to providing an evident added value to tourism and, therefore, to the movement of the economy. in the Valencian Community.

Let's see if among all the "pharaonic works" it occurs to them to do the Free Public Access Ramp at once.
You will see how they do everything but that.
And while the Private Channel non-stop earning tickets ...
How beautiful is politics, right Chulvi?

And what do you say, look at Avenida Juan Carlos I, all of Xàbia asking for a bike lane that reaches all urban centers, they reform Avenida Juan Carlos I with incredibly wide sidewalks and they do not put the bike lane, will you make it so wide for what? Anything that is left over from the sidewalk could be a bike path perfectly or if not parking spaces, there is a lack of parking in many places and to park it in public car parks you have to pay, I am in favor of fewer cars and those things but as long as they do not do anything to get it I don't want to have to park my car on the mountain because there is less and less place to park
