El Club Náutico Jávea has presented one of its most important events of the year, the Sailing Week, which this year celebrates 48 editions and does so at 100%, after the restrictions due to the pandemic.
Sailing Week has two aspects, social and sports, with which members and non-members enjoy each of the organized activities. In this new edition, the 48th Sailing Week is full of new features.
As explained by those responsible for the Yacht Club, this 2022, one of the novelties is that the comxicotetions will be spread over two weekends, thus extending this celebration and opening the possibility that more people can participate in some of the regattas.
The 48th Sailing Week of the Jávea Yacht Club will be held from August 18 to 28 and will include other activities such as the traditional paella contest, the children's party, exhibitions or the novelty, in terms of solidarity, of the solidarity regatta of rowing that is organized jointly with the Comissió de Festes de Mare de Déu de Loreto under the title '100 solidarity strokes against breast cancer'.
From the Yacht Club they have indicated that more than 300 people are expected at the events, among which are more than 60 cruise participants, 15 Optimist and more than 30 windsurfers. The organization appreciates the collaboration of the sponsors and highlights the great effort and work that is carried out during the days of the Sailing Week so that the event takes place with all the guarantees.
Likewise, it has also been highlighted that this important event of the annual calendar will be held for the first time after having completed the renovation works of the facilities linked to the extension of the concession approved by the Ministry of Territorial Policy.
