Kika Mata: "In the Ramblars fire, they are acting as the Firefighters say"

January 29 from 2022 - 10: 39

The fire in the Ramblars area was once again a debate in the Xàbia municipal plenary session. People's Party spokesperson Rosa Cardonaasked the government team why more action is not being taken to extinguish the fire. Cardona proposed to the government team to find solutions so that this event does not continue to drag on, "and not wait for it to end."

Likewise, the popular spokesperson also asked about the responsibility of the company that until now manages the transfer plant.

Faced with this question, the first mayor, José Chulvi, indicated that if it could be extinguished, we would have done so, "the fire is slow burning and we follow the firefighters' guidelines."

For her part, the Councilor for Services, Kika Mata, stated that "if we could turn it off faster, we would go. We are showing our faces daily and I apologize to the neighbors, we know the inconvenience it generates."

Mata explained that the firefighters' report indicates that there are only two ways to act in this type of fire; "Let it burn or go little by little clearing the piles and wetting the area, an action that is being carried out from the first moment. Every day work is being done to extinguish the fire."

Cuí bono – who was served by the fire?
If one can answer this question, one knows why the fire occurred and why it could not be extinguished.

    signs and facts:
    – Due to the large volume of plant waste and the saturation of the space, taking it to an authorized landfill would have cost a lot of money
    – as the environment / the vegetation of the nearby mountain was humid, a fire did not mean a risk for a forest fire
    – a self-fire of a compact accumulated organic mass can occur, in autumn with low temperatures after weeks of rain it is unlikely, (but not unlikely, so this is a weak indication and we assume that it has been natural)
    –> once the fire started
    – due to its large volume, extinguishing it would have required a lot of resources (time and men –> high cost)
    – technically a fire of this type can be extinguished with a foam blanket (the foam suffocates the outbreak of fire), although it takes several days (I was a volunteer firefighter for 10 years)
    – Once the fire has been extinguished, the cost of dismantling the organic material in an authorized landfill and the cost of extinguishing it would have had to be paid (this would have cost even much more than in the previous case)
–> someone decided, what to let the fire continue
    – A company was hired for the ramblars with a tanker truck and a hose (to control the fire) and 2 excavators with a front loader to move the remains (so that they burned completely)
    – the bulldozers loaded the ash into a truck (I have seen one, but I imagine more came), to take it to I don't know where
(I suppose to an authorized landfill???) –> there should be transport receipts and invoices

–> this was the cheapest solution of the three situations, and the most harmful to our health and the environment
It seems that the last situation was the most convenient 😉

If you don't have to show your face or put the photo, you have to explain why it happened, why that contract, why your silence... why so many things and cases end up with problems, delays, errors, non-compliance.
That's it, Kika, that's it, Jose. Socialism is respect for the citizen, transparency and information, political dignity… is it really like that in the Psoe de Xàbia. Reply, if you can!!!!!
The local group seems to be the Brotherhood of the Holy Silence.

It's embarrassing that they also try to excuse themselves from everything, they don't do anything wrong, they are the best on the planet, in EVERYTHING.
A pity that you have to swallow, day by day, these incompetent people.
Kika giving lessons to the staff, it's pathetic, I think so.

  4. July says:

It will be so, but firefighters don't live here. It's absolutely unbearable

  5. duaner says:

    What a little shame, Kika.

  6. Ignacio says:

Yes, whatever they want but that does not remove the reasons why the fire started. The accumulation of garbage without control. They are directly responsible for that.
