On April 23, the I National Karate Cup was held at the Palau d'Esports Miguel Buigues Andrés. The event was attended by a high number of comxicotetors from the Kata, Team Kata and Kumite modalities.
With regard to the Washinkai Karate club of Xàbia, it had the presence of 22 comxicotetors in the individual kata and team kata modalities, from which they obtained a medal:
