The socialist group of Xàbia held yesterday its ordinary local assembly, a meeting of the militancy in which the general secretary and candidate for mayor in 2019, José Chulvi, took stock of the work carried out by the party and the municipal group in the Town hall.
Chulvi stressed that "we are fighting day by day in the City Council, the problems we face and how we are defending the general interests against the attempts of companies without ethics, as in the cases of the theater-auditorium or the Triana bridge".
The secretary general has been proud of the PSPV of Xàbia, a group "Active, committed, that over the years we have been able to incorporate people with concerns and willing to be an active part of a project that more than a party, is a more human and sustainable town project".
Chulvi encouraged those present to face the coming months -claves to prepare the next electoral appointment- "With strength and renewed illusion".
In this sense, Chulvi recalled that the headquarters of PSPV of Xàbia -the Casa del Poble- is open all year for citizens to transmit their proposals and concerns. It has also advanced that from January will begin actions and meetings to prepare an electoral program with which to continue the project started since he took office.
In the meeting yesterday the local secretary of the group also presented their reports, Pepa Gisbert and Deputy Secretary Javier Bonet. At the end, the Socialists shared their traditional Christmas dinner, in which the secretary of
PSPV organization and coordinator of the Electoral Committee of the PSPV-PSOE of the regional and municipal elections of 2019, José Muñoz.
