The PSPV of Xàbia has confirmed José Chulvi as mayoral candidate for the next mayoral elections of 2019. The current mayor of the town and General Secretary of the PSPV will repeat, for the third time, as head of the list. Chulvi has been the only candidacy presented by the party, so in the absence of the official presentation of the list, the decision announced as early as last April becomes firm.
As of this moment, it will only be to present the definitive list that will concur to the next municipal elections.
Before this announcement José Chulvi, Has stated that "The local grouping of the PSPV, the executive and the members of the current government team and myself, we find ourselves with enough strength, enthusiasm and experience to face this great challenge with guarantees. We want to continue returning with work all the confidence that we have received from our neighbors and continue advancing in the cycle of change that we started in 2011, in which Xàbia has undergone a shift towards sustainability, transparency and the improvement of infrastructure and services ”.
For his part, the Deputy Secretary General and spokesman of the party in Xàbia, Javier Bonet, has indicated that "The socialist project for our people is an open, team project, and we are proud that this project and that good sum of ideas, sensitivities and work capacity, is still led by José Chulvi."
