Last Thursday 23 of May, The Lady Elizabeth School organized a series of activities for students of the Special Education School Raquel Payá de Dénia. The students participated in a cooking class, making crepes filled with fruit and were part of some soccer challenges and activities.
Also, the students enjoyed a dog show presented by the KYA Project where students from Lady Elizabeth School they train dogs to perform tricks. The students of the international school in years 7, 8 and 9 acted as helpers, guides and companions throughout the morning. After an action-packed morning, the students had lunch and were presented with awards and certificates.
This event is the first of the program All Together / All Together whose objective is to bring the students of LES to the local community and take an active role in supporting children less fortunate than them with different abilities.
The event was a joint effort with CSBas Coaching, who has actively participated in similar events in recent years, and The Lady Elizabeth School hopes to work with him in the future.
The next event will be the 18 in June, organized by Red House, when the group Condenados al Curzon, an organization in Dénia that supports extra curricular activities with children and adults with special needs, will show us what they are doing, they will join the students of Lady Elizabeth School.
