Jazz, fusion and traditional music in the March cultural program of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell

The Department of Culture, in charge of Jorge Pascual, has prepared the XIII edition of the Spring Concerts from El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. An original program that ranges from festive music to jazz and the most avant-garde fusion.

The concerts start on Saturday, 2 March, with the concert of Grandmother dedicated to Mozart and will be extended throughout the month, celebrating a different concert every Saturday in the local Church.

The March 9 will take place on VII Young Performers Contest. A contest that promotes musical dissemination and elementary and professional studies among young people in the municipality. "We have prepared a varied program that will not let any music lover escape whatever their musical preferences. We are convinced that it will be a success " pointed the Councilor for Culture, Jorge Pascual and Antonio Catalá, director of the School of Music.

As well, Purple Dansa, will surprise the 16 of March with composers of the size Grieg, Dvorak, Valero-Castells or Piazzolla, among others. On Saturday, March's 23 will be the turn of Reversed Grup, a concert that will try to approximate the current vision of the dulzaina with the piano and percussion and that will surprise with a proposal of travel from tradition to modernity.

Finally, there will come one of the most popular concerts, rooted and expected of the municipality, the concert of the Municipal Music Group of Santa María Magdalena de El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. It will be the 30 of March with a concert of festive music that will include pieces of pasodobles as well as music for Moors and Christians.
