Excited. That was how it was on Tuesday night, 26 in February, Javier Vives Cruañes, Chief of the Restaurant La Fontana and Posidonia after receiving the recognition award from the Association of Restauradores de Xàbia for their professional career in the theater.
Vives commented to Xàbia.com the emotion I felt with this award, "I did not expect it. For me it was a surprise and I liked the detail that the Association has had with me, this award helps me to continue improving and that customers leave happy restaurants."
Javier is the third generation of a family dedicated to the hospitality industry. Despite his youth, he has been running 10 for years managing the restaurants of La Fontana and Posidonia, "although I recognize that I have always been helping in the
deal".
Javier Vives had words of praise for his uncle, Pepe Cruañes (Mollet), already retired, who has deposited his trust in the restaurant to him, "my grandfather and uncle were the pioneers of hospitality in Arenal Beach and he is proud to follow the legacy left by them. "
