Ignacio Cardona and Toni Soler finished in the top 15 in the 'Milan Vertical Run'

The athletes, Ignacio Cardona y Toni Soler, the Llebeig Athletics Club Xàbia, they finished between the first 15 the test 'Milan Vertical Run', second of the scores for the 'Vertical World Circuit'. The first of the tests was held last week in Seoul.

The Xabieros came with great enthusiasm to this race where they had to climb the stairs of the Allianz building in the Italian city of Milan. In this test the participation was massive since it was around the 500 athletes belonging to 22 countries.

Ignacio Cardona after making the ascent to the tallest building in Italy in a time of 6.01: 35 ended up in the 13 position of the 391 men who participated. His partner and friend, Toni Soler also had a great performance and finished at 14 with an 6.03 brand: 70. Both managed to be the best Spaniards of all those who participated.

The winner of the test was the athlete, Piotr Lobodzinski, the Polish set a new record by stopping the chronometer in 5.15: 59. The second place went to the Austrian, Mark Bourne, with a mark of 5.16: 11. The third place went to the Italian, Fabio Ruga, who finished with a time of 5.20: 97.

The next test of the 'Vertical World Circuit' will be the April 28, in the city of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, with the 'Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81: Race to the Summit', a new race in a completely new building.

A circuit that has 11 racing, the highest number to date in the calendar, spanning the globe from New York to London, Paris, and Milan in Europe, through Dubai in the Middle East and to Asia , the center of the tallest towers in the world in Seoul, Ho Chi Minh City, Beijing, Shanghai, Osaka, concluding with the grand finale in Hong Kong.
