The joy and the good atmosphere will fill the streets of Xàbia from December 4 to 8 with 'Hola Nadal', the new craft and trade fair. The new leisure offer, aimed at all audiences, will be located both in Xàbia Histórica and Xàbia Port.
During Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 December, the historic center of Xàbia will be the setting for this commercial event that will also host different children's activities for the whole family to enjoy. Then, from December 6 to 8, the Christmas date will go to Duanes de la Mar.
This event, in which the merchants' associations also collaborate, has been presented by the councilors, Marta Bañuls, responsible for Economic Development and Susana Ern, Councilor for Fairs and Markets.
Bañuls has highlighted the enthusiasm with which this event is proposed after last year's break, “it is a satisfaction to be able to re-schedule activities and welcome Christmas again in a festive way, encouraging people to go out and joy returns to our streets ”.
Programming Languages
The fair and the activities will take place in the case of the historic center in the church square and that of Celestino Pons. There the craft stalls will be installed along with local trade stalls and social and solidarity organizations such as the Red Cross, Aspanion, Amunt against cancer or the Housewives, among others.
As for the children's activities that will be during the two days there will be a children's playroom in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
Furthermore, the Saturday 4At 19:30 p.m. there will be a blues performance by the Mingo Balaguer Band. The Sunday 5At 12:00 hours, in the Placeta del Convent, the Dani Miquel performance will take place.
Del 6 al 8, the activity moves to the Duanes neighborhood, where a craft fair will also be held during the holiday weekend. It will be between the promenade and Avenida Jaume I and there will also be a children's playroom for boys and girls who want to participate, in the morning and afternoon.
The performance that will close this program will be that of Canta Canalla, the miércoles 8, at 12:00 hours on the promenade, in front of the square of the midwife Maruja Varó.
