The rescue team of Red Cross Xàbia has evacuated a 15-year-old wounded after hitting a rock in the Cova del Llop Marí.
The accident happened around 14:30 p.m. The boat has been mobilized from the Cala Granadella and the land rescue vehicle, whose team has accessed the place through the stairs of the fishing village known as Sol de Barranc to join the companions of the boat who were already stabilizing the boy on a dry surface inside the cave.
The companions reported that the wounded man had suffered a concussion and showed signs of hypothermia and disorientation, for which he has been completely immobilized to be able to safely evaluate him by sea.
The boat has transported the injured to the dock of Granadella where the ambulance has taken him to the hospital.
