26 2021 April - 12: 25

This past weekend took place in Xàbia, the 37th edition of the Jesús Nazareno Trophy - 10th José Catalá Marí Memorial. The test had the participation of a total of 85 cyclists. The test, organized as every year, by the CC Jávea and sponsored by the Town hall, began at 17:16,3 p.m. making the Jávea-Jesús Pobre-Jávea route -which was given three laps of 52 km-, over XNUMX kilometers on the road.

The circuit gave the participants a lot of play and brought out the successor of Marc Cabedo, winner of the 2018 edition (in 2019 it could not be celebrated due to inclement weather, and in 2020 neither, due to the COVID crisis).

Héctor García, from the Giménez Ganga team, was the winner, in the cadet category. The victory was achieved with a minimum difference of 5 seconds over Ricardo Díaz (Garzelli) and Mario Álvarez (Sime) - team winner - who completed the podium.

García also won the mountain award while Nacho Bautista (from PC Pinedo) took the flying goal trophy.

For their part, Claudia Galiano (Llopis), Rut Martínez (Cronobike) and Ana Alfonzo (Cronobike) finished as the best females of the day.
